The Reds 2012

Little man just finished up his first season in baseball this year!  I have to say that even though I had grown up with baseball, I had to hold off on him playing because of the level of commitment there.  I have a hubby who works extremely hard for us, and knew I would be looking at 3 and 4 practices/games a week with my 3 little ones by myself for a big part of it (and late ones,..like way after bedtime for a good many).  But I am glad that we finally gave it a shot.  He progressed so much and had a blast, and think after some more maturing with it and practicing he'll continue to do great!  I made this little video for all the sweet players and thought I would share!  We were NOT Reds fans before, but we sure do love OUR Reds!!!  You guys did great this season!! Loving the color green!

So, I got to shoot for this precious, precious newbie, and her equally precious family. I was so excited as well to use this beautiful little organic green headband I found. I have to give some credit to Lindsey Marie for this,..she is the designer of some beautiful little props for babies. But back to these sweet pics! I have known this little ones' grandmother for a bit, and she decided that her new grandbaby needed a Camden Photography gift certificate,..so here we are! And SO glad to do it! And loving how these came out! I especially have to say I got so excited to see the pictures of Mommy and Daddy as little ones sitting on the dresser when I walked into their room,...how in the world could I not put that sweet little girl in between them when I saw that,..and to catch a smile,..well, that was truly icing on the cake!! And then when little bit finally got completely worn out and truly fell fast asleep in the little stroller,..well, I think we stood around for about 20 minutes just tickled because she was so durn cute!!
So, I hope, hope you enjoy these as much as I enjoyed doing them!

Andrew & Ashley | Married! | Marietta; Kennesaw Photographer

Sweet Little A | Happy One Year!

So, I have been photographing sweet little miss A the whole first year of her life, and have loved each moment of it! She just turned one, and it just amazes me, as it has with my own just how quickly the time goes by. I'm so glad we have these little moments frozen in time because I am really learning it will all be gone way too fast. I pray we all treasure them! So, happy birthday sweet girl, and as it is actually her mommy's birthday today, I hope this serves as a sweet birthday present for you today as well! Thank you for letting me spend this year with you all! I've treasured it!

Keri Beth + Brandon | Wedding

I had only planned on putting a few of these up on the blog, but just couldn't choose which ones, so here are several of my favorites! And I promised the bridesmaids I would put up the 'Charlie's Angels' pic, so here they are in their rockin' poses! And you have to love sweet girl who pulled her chair out to the middle of the dance floor during the father-daughter dance, and Daddy moving her,..so cute! And that truck,...beautiful! And lastly, the blending of these two sweet families, and both of their Braydon's,...precious,...I wish you all all of the best! Thank you for letting me be the one to document this special day for you!

Keri + Brandon | Huntsville, AL Engagement Session

I'm just so happy to be shooting for this sweet couple. Truly you can see their love for each-other so evident in watching them,..I think they actually forgot we were there for a moment or two here and there throughout the shoot. And I just love that they each have little boys only a couple of years apart,..both with the names, Braden, who we shot some with at the beginning of the session,..could they be any cuter, as well,..I'm thinking not?! And location,..AMAZING. Brandon's grandparents live on a farm in Huntsville, AL,...(also close to an old train depot),..and I just don't think we could have had a more perfect location or weather for this shoot. It was all things combined just about perfect.

So I got the chance to take pictures for this sweet couple this past week. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day, and what amazing scenery! The shot above the farm just takes my breath away, and Ashley my dear, you rocked those boots! Looking forward to sharing in your big day with you both!

life is precious, life is sweet

Okay, so this is why a good majority of my photographer friends have sworn off child photography. I don't know why but it tickles me. Maybe because for a moment it's not one of my little three (who are all 5 and under)! But it doesn't stress me. I think because it's at this moment, that I know there is probably not a thing in the world I can do to change what it is. It is what it is. It's real life. Both beautiful and laughable. And I think it solidifies that we're all just the same,..we're all in this together, and we all go through most of the same things, joys, pains, things that don't go entirely our way, or even close sometimes, and even crying babies, who are seemingly doing it when you most don't want them to! But you know what,..these are the pictures I love. Not because I like for my sweet babies to be sad, but because it's just real; real moments, happy or sad. Nothing contrived, but part of this life we live every single day. I'd rather live a moment of real, than to have felt like I had never really lived.
And the happy family pictures of a family that I adore, and especially the shoes in the mouth, don't make me sad at all either!

My wishes that you and those close to you have a Merry and well lived Christmas!

My cup runneth over

Well, I'm not even really sure where to start this blog entry.
This afternoon I was able to photograph a family I have come to know over the past few years, and really kind of feel like they are family now. I photographed their daughter's wedding, and then the welcoming of a grandbaby/baby, and now today was able to photograph them again during another dear and bittersweet time in their lives. Without going into any level of detail, I just hope as you're reading this, you'll just say a little prayer for them. They're one of the sweetest families that I know, and I've been blessed to have rejoiced when they've rejoiced, and now am truly heartbroken as their hearts break too. I know life is full of so many moments, all different ones,..they just sometimes seem too few. I pray we'll all cherish as many single moments as we are given and not ever take for granted what God has given us in the people he has brought into our lives.
